What do OHC Volunteer Greeters do?

Volunteer Greeters are assigned to all OHC sites to welcome and count guests, answer questions and assist with crowd control and line management. Greeters typically work one four-hour shift, which leaves plenty of time to explore the city the remainder of the weekend.

Why should I be a Volunteer Greeter?

In addition to meeting visitors from all over the world who share your enthusiasm for the city and its architecture, Volunteer Greeters receive:

  • A Priority Access pass and admission to Members Only sites for you and a companion
  • 50% off a CAF membership
  • 15% discount at the CAF Store
  • OHC t-shirt souvenir
  • Two free CAF walking tour passes

All Volunteer Greeters are required to complete a training session either online or in-person.
