Moss Design, 2017
Visit Chicago’s first meadery and winery, the sole producer of honey wine on the Northern Illinois Wine Trail. Committed to sourcing ingredients locally and sustainably over its 20+ years, Wild Blossom uses purified Lake Michigan water and runs its own bee-keeping operation. The business recently expanded with a new facility and tasting room in Beverly, located between the Dan Ryan Woods and Metra train tracks, and alongside the Major Taylor Trail. The crafty adaptive reuse of an industrial building by Moss Design created the bright, high-ceilinged tasting room where guests can sample numerous meads blended with fresh fruits and exotic infusions. The facility also offers weekly wine and beer making classes.
