Moss Design, 2017
For more than two decades, Wild Blossom Meadery & Winery has been a fixture in Chicago, creating wine and mead using locally produced ingredients. Committed to sourcing ingredients locally and sustainably over its 20+ years, Wild Blossom uses purified Lake Michigan water and runs its own bee-keeping operation. The business recently expanded to a new facility and tasting room in Beverly, located between the Dan Ryan Woods and Metra train tracks, and alongside the Major Taylor Trail. The crafty adaptive reuse of an industrial building by Moss Design created the bright, high-ceilinged tasting room where guests can sample numerous meads blended with fresh fruits and exotic infusions. The facility also offers wine and beer making classes.
Enjoy a tour and tasting at Chicago’s first meadery and winery.
