Revolution Workshop is a non-profit that connects unemployed and underemployed adults with careers in construction. Under the restored bow-truss ceilings of their workshop, you can find model houses that have been built by trainees as they learn basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills. The building used to be a soda bottling facility. Revolution Workshop aims to bring the wealth of the trades back to the local community by connecting residents with sustainable, skilled careers. The organization also helps reclaim local lumber by partnering with their neighbor, Great Lakes Yard, which is also part of OHC 2019.

Visitor Experience

Visit this workshop and trade training facility. View model houses built by current and former students, and take in demonstrations of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skill.
