Tucked away on a residential street, the Beverly Hills Tennis Club is a small, private club with a home-like clubhouse and eight clay tennis courts--a rarity nowadays in the Chicago area. Started by a group of tennis-loving families, the Club is celebrating 100 years in 2019. It offers private tennis lessons for members, group lessons for adults and children, and various social events and club tournaments, including the Woodie Tournament, which requires participants to use a wooden racket. In late fall, winter and early spring, the club also hosts platform tennis, where a heating system beneath the deck allows for outdoor play in all weather conditions.

Visitor Experience

Walk through the clubhouse and view the practice wall, pickleball court and tennis courts. Club members will be on hand to give optional guided tours. Those wishing to take a turn on the clay courts must wear appropriate tennis shoes.
