Description

Chicago’s brandy-focused micro-distillery, Rhine Hall has been producing small batch fruit spirits in the Kinzie Industrial Corridor since 2013. Father-daughter team Charlie and Jenny Solberg transitioned their family’s skill and passion for making traditional “eau de vie”, honed in Austria and Germany, into a business. The majority of their fresh fruit is sourced from the Great Lakes Region— each bottle containing roughly 25lbs of fruit and nothing else. The essence of the fruit, without the sweetness, is present in both taste and aroma. Their sleek distillery and taproom displays the DIY bike-powered apple chopper that helped catapult their home production to a new level.
