DETAILS:
The Canopy studio is located on the second floor of The Equitable Building, a 1927 Beaux-Arts-style building renovated in 1985. What is now the Canopy office in Suite 200 was originally designed for a bank and later occupied by other tenants. The growing architecture and design firm reawakened original bank details not seen in decades, balancing them with modern elements. Canopy approached the project as an extension of their design sensibilities honoring the past, present, and future.
VISITOR EXPERIENCE:
Visitors will have the chance to explore the building's history and engage with the architectural practice's current and upcoming work through project drawings, photos, models, renderings, and current material selections. Architects will be on site.
