Originally home to Edward Katzinger & Company--a manufacturer of tin pans for commercial bakeries--this 1906 building recently had new life breathed into it with the opening of Notre, a high-end street wear clothing retailer. The owners and architects took an innovative approach to handling the difference in height between the sidewalk and shop floor: the soaring vestibule and brick stairway-ramp they created doubles as a space for talks, workshops and other programs. The design of the store is spare, but dotted with carefully-curated art and mid-century furniture.
Explore 4,500 square feet of retail on the path that feels most natural to you--the store was designed with the concept of exploration in mind. Staff will be on hand to answer questions about the shop and its design.
