Located on picturesque Longwood Drive, this Prairie Style church was designed in 1913 by Harry Hale Waterman, the village architect. Perkins, Fellows and Hamilton designed an expansion in the 1920s to accommodate the swelling ranks of congregants. The church has Art Nouveau windows and curving pews arranged beneath the soft light of a stained glass dome. For years now, the large church building has welcomed other groups needing space including Eternal Life Congregation, a food pantry, the Council Oak Montessori School and dance and athletics groups from the community.
