On what was previously one of the most violent blocks in Englewood, I Grow Chicago is planting the seeds of change and igniting collective hope and healing. By transforming abandoned homes and vacant lots into community-led resources, they are building skills, fostering connection, and promoting a safe and thriving community. The ideas for what is on the Peace Campus came from many forums held by Englewood residents. The plans for the Peace House, Family Resource House and Healing Justice Court were drawn pro-bono by architecture firm Krueck + Sexton.

Visitor Experience

Visitors can enjoy a guided tour (every 30 minutes) or a station-by-station visit to the Peace House, Family Resource House, Peace Garden, Healing Justice Court, and Nature Play Space. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to guide tours and answer questions.
