Originally established in the Flat Iron Building across the street, Heaven Gallery is another long-running gallery in the Lubinski Building, up a steep flight of stairs, above a furniture store. Heaven Gallery has established itself as a multi-disciplinary arts space focused on presenting the work of emerging Chicago artists and musicians. For more than 20 years, Heaven has hosted regular community events, exhibitions, video and film programs and more to promote local talent. The gallery has even added a small vintage shop to the front of the gallery that attracts customers from all over Chicago. From the street, visitors can see a sparkling window installation from Chicago-based artist Edra Soto. Heaven Gallery is attached to a scenic roof deck, with a mural and unusual up-close views of the Blue Line tracks and Damen stop.
