Chicago Filmmakers recently completed an intensive rehab of this retired 1928 firehouse. The long-running not-for-profit cultural group outfitted this ornate structure with a 75-person movie theater for screenings of independent films and documentaries. The space also includes administrative offices and classrooms for public courses.
