In business since 1994, Big Delicious Planet Catering, Canteen & Urban Farm is an unexpected oasis in the West Town industrial corridor. Next to BDP's commercial kitchen and cafe, three adjacent lots have been transformed into a lush urban farm with 64 raised beds of organic vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, and three beehives - not to mention an enchanting outdoor dining table. In 2013, BDP became the first caterer in the country to earn 4-Star Certified Green Restaurant status from the Green Restaurant Association, and it still holds the title of “Greenest Caterer in America.”
