Description

Stantec Architecture’s studio on the 14th Floor of the historic Railway Exchange Building was once home to the Daniel H. Burnham & Co. architectural practice, the original developers and architects of the building. Stantec is one of the world’s leading integrated design firms, with over 25,000 employees across 400+ offices. The Chicago studio's work includes architecture, interior design, landscape design, urban and master planning. Notable local projects include Roosevelt University's Wabash Tower, Wrigley Field renovations, Hotel Zachary, Walgreens Old Post Office, 900 West Randolph, Pullman Artspace Lofts, and further afield, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art currently under construction in Los Angeles.

The studio space wraps the Railway Exchange Building’s airy, terracotta and white glazed brick-clad atrium which bathes the collaborative workplace in soft, natural light. Tall windows provide views across Millennium Park to Lake Michigan, and across Wabash through the Loop.

Visitor Experience

The east half of the 14th floor studio will be open for short, guided tours with small stations set up. Tours are not mandatory but encouraged.
