At 6018North, the past and present have blurred together. Originally a mansion built during the early 20th century, the space's current owners halted renovations in 2010 after a burst water pipe on the second floor exposed the original skeleton of the much-altered building. Instead, they established 6018North, an "artist-centered, sustainable, nonprofit platform and venue," encouraging artists to create experimental pieces that seamlessly blend into the surrounding structure.
