Artist on the Nine

Artists on the Nine is a site that has merged historic preservation with community development. Led by The Greater Chatham Initiative, this space was converted from a vacant storefront into an art studio/gallery and community space. The space has been upgraded with modern amenities, but has also restored important historic features such as the original terra cotta flooring. It is currently occupied by three resident artists who use the space to work on their own projects and to host arts-related events and programs.

The site will be set up as a gallery for visitors to peruse at their leisure.
