The Conservation Center was founded in 1983. It is one of the nation’s leading private art restoration and conservation laboratories—the largest of its kind. Their state-of-the-art facility has cared for fine art from some of the country’s most prestigious museums, galleries and corporate and private collections. It was completed in 2012 and designed by Studio Gang Architects. Conservation Center staff perform specialized work on paintings, textiles, photographs, murals, furniture and decorative objects.
