Studio Gang moved into the former Polish National Alliance building in 2015, just a year after the Art Deco gem was made a Chicago Landmark. The building was once the headquarters of a notable fraternal organization that provided financial services to Polish immigrants and residents of the Polish Triangle neighborhood. A thorough restoration and renovation created an open-plan office for one of Chicago's most celebrated and cutting-edge design studios. The transformation also added a stunning indoor/outdoor rooftop event space. Founded by MacArthur Fellow Jeanne Gang, the firm has many local projects including Aqua, Writers Theater, WMS Boathouse, Northerly Island master plan and the upcoming Vista Tower in Lakeshore East—expected to be Chicago's third tallest building.
